A form of chlorine for swimming pools, bound to calcium, usually 65% chlorine, 35% inert (calcium) ingredients, used primarily for "shock", unstabilized, short shelf life. Used with 'soft' water, care should be taken to prevent excessive hardness levels. Can cause scale and cloudiness when levels reach over 300 p.p.m.
