A form of chlorine that uses lithium as a base. Usually comes in granular form. Used primarily as a "shock", leaves no residual problems (known at this time), unstabilized, short shelf life, excellent choice for sanitizing covered spas, pools with "stressed" water, etc. Usually 35% lithium hypochlorite 65% inert.
