A Compound used for sanitizing pools and spas, manufactured by DuPont Chemicals. Excellent use for swimmer waste, body oils, freeing of combined chlorine (CHLOROMINES). Sometimes called a "NON-CHLORINE SHOCK" or "OXIDIZER". Recommended for use in spas, commercial pools, and residential pools with high bather load. Can even be alternated with chlorine shock during dry weather for shocking pool. Used as main type of shock for low chlorine and non-chlorine pools and spas.
