A different coloration of white plaster, similar, to the shading difference, of cumulus clouds with no apparent pattern. A blotch, or spot, or streaks, of different shades of color, usually in a variegated pattern. Mottling can be more pronounced, in colored plaster. Some mottling will happen to ALL plasters.
